I found some Ramen noodles in the cabinet that are at least two years old.  I think they were from 2005.
So I ate them (minus the “flavor” packet.)
Good news!
They taste just as bad three years later.

Half your town leaves during the summer.

I met my client at 10:00 and he was very hungover.  Just as the food arrived, he excused himself to go to the bathroom, where he puked for 15 minutes.  He returned and ate his fried green tomato breakfast.
I like him.

They decided to go with one of my second round logos.

I am having brunch with a client today (not the logo client).  Weird.  Having business brunch wasn’t something that I took into consideration when I started doing freelance stuff, although the thought of being flown to meet a client in San Francisco, Seattle or Tahiti [...]

You never have to get dressed up.  Everywhere you go, there are college students wearing what appear to be pajamas.  Even at 6pm.

My logo was too edgy for the PR crowd.

I “designed” my first corporate logo for a client who shall remain nameless for my protection
I have no idea what I’m doing, but with most of the stuff I do, I figured I’d just jump in and see what stuck to the wall. (What?)
